الْحَمْدُ ِللهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ وَالصَّلاَةُ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَى أَشْرَفِ اْلأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَعَلَى اَلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِيْنَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ

First of all, let us pray our gratitude to God, for he has predetermine and create loving creatures, who loved and took care of us from the moment we open our eyes in the natural world. No other creature is Mrs. ..

Prayers and peace we pray to Prophet Muhammad, his companions, and his followers until the end of time. May we be given the persistence of faith and ketaqwaa, ameen ..

Fathers, mothers are easy - I hope Allah blessed ....

Speaking about Mother, of course, we often hear stories about Malin kundang cursed into stone .. for what? because he did not recognize the figure and the poor old woman, who in fact she is the mother of Malin Kundang ..

In this day and age, no child is truly cursed into stone .. but I am sad, because there are many children who rebel in the elderly, the innocent mother, said rude, lying, and even have the heart to violent behavior in the elderly. whereas mothers with sincerity childbirth, breastfeeding and caring for us, when we are weak.

Allah says:

(Wawashshaynaa al-insaana biwaalidayhi ummuhu wahnan hamalat-hu 'alaa fii wahnin wafishaaluhu' ani aamayni usykur lii waliwaalidayka ilayya almashiiru)

It means: "And We have commanded man (doing good) to his two mother-father, his mother had conceived him in a weakened state that increase steadily, and weaning in two years. Grateful to Me and to your fathers two mothers, only to the husbandman your return . " (Qur'an, 31:14)

Mom was the one who took care of us since we were babies, toddlers, adults also love until we unfortunately will not be lost. Because of this great sacrifice, we must love our mothers, more than our love for others ..

Someone asked the Prophet, "O Messenger of Allah, who is most entitled to service and friendship?" Prophet replied, "your mother ... mother ... mother, then your father, and then closer to you and closer to you." (Mutafaq'alaih).

Having said that, there are certain obligations on us as parents:

1. Obedient and dutiful to parents. as long as they did not rule on idolatry, and we keep our manners and kindness. (Please see Q.S Luqman, 31:15)

2. Praying for both parents. Among our prayers in the elderly is,

"Our Lord, Forgive me my father and both my mom and all the believers on the day of reckoning (the Day of Resurrection)." (Surah Ibrahim, 14:41)

"..." O Lord, love them both, as they both have educated me a little. "(Surah Al-Israa '17:24)" ...

"Hopefully salvation bestowed unto you, I will ask for forgiveness for you my Lord. Verily, He is very good to me. (Q.S Maryam, 19:47)

"O my Lord! Forgive me, my father's mother, the person who entered my home with all the faith and the faithful men and women. And do not you add for those who do wrong, in addition to destruction. "(Surah Nuh, 71:28)

3. Keeping our speech in order to remain polite, tone do not get too high, do not shout, nor refused when ordered. If not, tell a good reason, do not grumble (please refer to Surah Al-Israa '17:23)

Those are some guidelines we are to do good to parents, especially my mother terhada. hopefully we, our mothers, our fathers, our brothers, brothers in faith and piety, so be reunited in heaven of Allah SWT for His Ridho .. Ameen Ya Ya Aalh robal 'aalamiin
